BRIAN SALAU BECK

Mr. Beck is a sophisticated entrepreneur and business executive with a track record of success in start-up development and operations and Fortune 500 corporate strategy.

Prior to joining Threshold, Mr. Beck served as Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Yourfit, Inc., a leading provider of e-commerce software to the online apparel industry. While at Yourfit, Mr. Beck developed and managed the firm’s business plan, created the operating financial model, and successfully raised and closed $4.1 million in funding from venture capital and angel investors. Prior to joining Yourfit, Mr. Beck was an e-business strategy consultant for Scient, a leading Internet consultancy. At Scient, he played a critical role in developing e-business strategies for Fortune 500 clients and e-commerce start-ups. Previously, Mr. Beck was a member of AT&T’s corporate strategy unit, where he was involved in setting the company’s market entry strategy in a number of domestic and international initiatives, including acquisitions worth over $1.3 billion.

Mr. Beck is a recognized expert on business strategy for the early stage enterprise. He has taught courses on business planning for the New Jersey Economic Development Authority and Rutgers University’s Small Business Development Center. Mr. Beck has also been a presenter and panelist at notable forums including the New York Venture Group’s annual Venture Capital Fair, the US Small Business Administration’s regional financing seminars, and the Telecommunications Industry Association’s annual Venture East forum.

Mr. Beck holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Rutgers College and an MBA from Rutgers Graduate School of Management. Mr. Beck is fluent in Spanish.
