Randolph C. Lumb
Location: South Carolina
Randolph Lumb is a successful executive
with a sustained record of profitable, innovative business
leadership in information technology and telecommunications
network infrastructure and services. His expertise is
built on considerable experience as a C-level manager
responsible for revenue development, executive consulting,
and general business leadership. Mr. Lumb maintains
exceptional skills, education, and achievements in domestic
and international business development and growth. He
has experience in building sustained performance in
business operations, international business ventures
development, mergers, acquisitions and business to business
strategic alliance negotiations.
Prior to joining Threshold, Mr. Lumb
was the Executive Vice President of PECO II, Inc. and
President of PECO II Global Services, Inc., the U.S.
and International sales, marketing, engineering and
installation services subsidiary of PECO II, Inc. While
at PECO II, Mr. Lumb was responsible for the development
and delivery of the domestic and international customer
relationship management strategy to capture market share
via U.S. and international delivery channels. The company
grew from a provider of telecommunications infrastructure
power systems products to a turnkey solutions provider
serving 1st tier companies such as Cingular, SBC, Verizon,
Qwest, Nextel, and Telemex. Mr. Lumb is a leader in
Sales Channel Management, Customer Relationship and
Supply Chain Management
Prior to PECO II, Mr. Lumb served as
the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing with
VCampus Corporation an e-Learning Application Service
Provider. While with VCampus, Mr. Lumb renovated the
companies go to market strategy and grew commercial
market share and customers. Also, a public-private partnership
was developed with the General Services Administration
(GSA) to provide Internet based training to the Civilian
Agencies of the U. S. Federal Government.
Previously, Mr. Lumb was with Keane
Inc. He held positions in both business development
and services delivery. As Program Manager he led the
delivery of very large IT application development and
outsourcing service engagements in the health care,
manufacturing and distribution industries. Business
development responsibilities included closing a multi-million
dollar outsourcing agreement with Philip Morris for
ERP migration.
Mr. Lumb was Vice President of Global
Business Development for AT&T. Mr. Lumb's responsibilities
included the development of international business plans
and the negotiations of global business partnerships
and affiliations to grow the Companies globally.
At IBM, Mr. Lumb was a leader in the
development of electronic funds transfer and management
systems for the financial marketplace. He was instrumental
in the design and implementation of EFT based retail-banking
systems.
Mr. Lumb holds a B.S. degree in Business
from Mississippi State University and is a graduate
of the Advanced Management Program at the Graduate School
of Business, Harvard University. He has served on the
President's Export Council, the U.S. Government Advisory
Committee on Electronics and Instrumentation, and was
appointed a delegate by the Executive Office of the
President to the World Trade Organization.
