Robert Schmid
Mr. Schmid is a senior sales, marketing
and operations executive specializing in alliance/partnership
marketing with emerging, high technology and pre-IPO
companies. Mr. Schmid has over 20 years of business
development, channel sales and marketing experience
with a wide range of telecommunications, wireless, and
information technology firms including NextWave Telecom,
Edify, SkyTel and Wang Laboratories. Prior to joining
Threshold, Mr. Schmid held several positions at Pathnet,
a telecommunications company, including Director of
Alliance Programs, Alternate Channel Sales and Sales
Operations. In addition to performing consulting assignments
for Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Mr. Schmid has conducted
multiple consulting assignments for various telecommunications
and information systems companies.
Mr. Schmid holds a B. S. degree
in Marketing from Georgetown University and an MBA in
Marketing from George Washington University. Mr. Schmid
lives in the Washington, D.C area.
