Rose Strain

Ms. Strain is a seasoned healthcare executive with expertise in managed care, quality assurance, disease management, medical billing, and public health programs. Additionally, she has a deep understanding of data systems in these areas, particularly web-based solutions.

For seven years, Ms. Strain was CEO of Medical Foundation Services, a regional case management and utilization management firm based in South Florida. The company grew under her leadership to become the largest independent firm of its type in Florida and pioneered an online, real-time precertification and case management system.

She has also been an Account Manager in the Health Care Services Group of the web development firm, Fusive Corporation. At Fusive, she oversaw the functional analysis of transactional websites for acute care, laboratory, case management, and claims appeals. Fusive is a subsidiary of SAIC, and has won numerous awards for it web projects in the U.S. and internationally.

She also spent four years in operations at Magellan Specialty Health Services, six years in Health Services research at the Harvard School of Public Health, and four years in a state public health office.

Ms. Strain is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians (CHCQM). She received her MBA and MPH from Boston University.
