SUSHMA RAJ
Sushma Rajagopalan (Raj) is a sophisticated
business executive with over 16 years of management
experience in the IT, software, and investment banking
industries. Prior to joining Threshold, Ms. Rajagopalan
served as Vice President of Global Consulting and Global
Learning at RedHat, a $90 million (annual revenue) developer
of Linux and open source solutions for Internet infrastructure.
Previously, Ms. Rajagopalan served
in various executive positions, including managing the
operations of Mastech Corporation, a $400 million IT
professional services company with 6,000 employees worldwide.
With the repositioning of Mastech to iGate Capital,
Ms. Rajagopalan became the operating head of a portfolio
company, Enterprise Network Solutions. While at Enterprise
Network Solutions, she engineered a merger with Planning
Technologies, Inc. to create a market leading entity
and provide an exit for stakeholders. Ms. Rajagopalan
also held senior positions with Citicorp’s investment
bank in India and CMC, an IBM offshoot also located
in India. In addition to her work experience, Ms. Rajagopalan
teaches graduate business curriculum in entrepreneurship
at Pennsylvania State University Graduate School of
Business.
Ms. Rajagopalan holds an M.A in Personnel
Management from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences
in India and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University
with a focus in entrepreneurship and strategy.
